from an early age, i was always fascinated by art. marvel comics, nintendo and disney cartoons were a huge part of my childhood and was the starting point to my own creative interests. my favorite hobbies as a youth were drawing and painting my favorite animated characters. little did i know that these hobbies were the foundation for my future interests in creative design.
when i studied at university of maryland, my love of art was rekindled when i enrolled in studio art. the drawing and illustration courses were the foundations for the eventual move to graphic design. pen and paper were replaced by a computer and mouse, but the creative process remain unchanged. ideas are formed in the head, edited and reworked and from there transferred to a computer screen.
